Biography

Starting in 1970 with his first Pentax 35mm and a 50-210mm lens, Chris began shooting model portfolio's for agencies in Vancouver (Hasselblad 2.25x2.25 and Nikon 35mm), British Columbia. One of his first subjects, Sharmaine Smith of Kelowna BC advanced to model status after having her photo'sd apear in Penthouse and Playboy Magazines. During the 80's Chris mostly specialized in actors headshots and some glamour photography as well as actively working as a Director of Photography, Stuntman and Producer on several hundred motion pictures. but by the 90's was kept busy shooting stills on Motion Picture productions in Vancouver BC, Los Angeles and was the staff photographer for the Allen International Modeling agency in Kelowna British Columbia. He now resides in the Okanagan Valley region and Vancouver, British Columbia where he shoots fashion, weddings, photojournalism and personal portraiture and the occasional model portfolio. He also shoots travel photo's for several magazine publishers when he has the time. Chris now shoots on digital using a Pentax k100D, several sony's and uses a wide variety of high end lenses and accesories including specialty lighting.

Chris is also the publisher and editor of Pacific Nightlife Magazine, scheduled to be launched across the Pacific region of North America, Asia, Hawaii and Australia in late August 2008. Pacific Nightlife Magazine is a trend/lifestyles magazine.
